Besides the standard three speed manual transmission with a floor-mounted gear shifter for the 1969 corvette, there were four optional transmissions which are listed below.
Automatic Transmission - Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission with floor-mounted gear shifter was optional. Optional Manual Transmission - High Performance all-synchromesh four-speed manual transmission with a floor-mounted gear shifter was optional. Optional Manual Transmission - High Performance four-speed manual all-synchromesh close-ratio transmission with a floor-mounted gear shifter was optional. Optional Manual Transmission - Special heavy-duty four-speed manual all-synchromesh close-ratio transmission with a floor-mounted gear shifter was optional. As you can see there were many options for the 1969 corvette transmissions! |
